About me
My name is Zane Kupper. I count myself blessed to be father to my amazing daughter, husband to the best of wives and best of women, and proud to call Keller, TX home.
But, let me go back a bit farther to explain how we ended up here.
I was born in New York City, NY in 1987. I attended NYC public schools throughout my primary education, and started working at the age of 6 when I became a voice actor in many TV cereal commercials. Throughout High School I worked as Karate instructor, and after graduating from Midwood High School in 2005 went on to pursue a BA in Anthropology (with a focus on Archaeology) at the State University of New York at New Paltz.
I graduated in 2009 (not the best time to hit the workforce with a degree in the soft sciences), and moved back home to NYC. After working several odd jobs, in 2013 I married my High School Sweetheart, Stephanie, and enlisted in the United States Army.
I served in the Army for five years as a Korean Cryptologic Linguist, three of those years in South Korea. During that time, I:
- Attended the NCO Academy, where I was the Honor Graduate and recipient of the SGT. David B. Bleak Award.
- Was selected for the prestigious DoD Yonsei Immersion Program, and attended a civilian university to deepen my understanding of Korean Language and Culture.
- Participated in a pilot version of the new MFT (Master Fitness Trainer) training held in Korea, and got to serve as my Company’s MFT.
In August, 2018, my wife and I moved to Long Beach, CA so I could go back to school. I joined Cohort VII of the Master’s of Business for Veterans program at the University of Southern California (a one-year accelerated MBA program), and graduated in May of 2020 (at the height of the COVID Pandemic).
During that time, I started With An Egg Productions (feel free to ask me about the name) with two other Veterans. We’re still going strong almost 5 years later, and we were recently recognized as one of the top-10 Video Production companies in Long Beach.
In 2022, I accepted a job opportunity here in Keller at GoPowerSports. My family and I loved the trees, the businesses, the feel of Keller, and without family or friends in the area, decided to move out. We love calling Keller home, and I want to make sure that the Keller my daughter inherits is just as amazing and vibrant as the Keller we enjoy today.
