Let’s Put the Unity Back in Community

Campaign Platform

1. Fiscally Conservationist
Keller needs to prioritize long-term infrastructure and business development projects (not doing what’s most expedient and kicking the rest down the line). This is the city we have. We need to take a look at what the needs are and are going to be in the next 10 years. so
We don’t want to be caught off-guard and playing catchup because it was convenient for previous councils to offer “unprecedented tax-relief” that left us unprepared for the future.
2. Public Safety
Making sure Public Safety Professionals are compensated like their peers in neighboring communities. This includes Fire Fighters, Police Officers, and our NETCOM professionals who manage a large case load and deserve more than just an “attaboy” and some words of commendation.
They watch our backs and keep us safe, let’s make sure we’ve got them covered.

3. Creative, Out-of-the-Box Solutions
I plan to find creative solutions to make Old Town and Keller Town Center more connected, accessible, and inviting using my Master’s in Business background.
Solutions could include everything from the simple (sidewalk improvements to make Old Town more pedestrian and disability-friendly), to the complex (creating over or underpasses to allow easier traversal of Main Street), and everything in-between.
Throughout the process, community input and dialogue is required to ensure we’re getting the best ideas and maintain public trust.
4. Community Focus
For the past few years, the dais at City Hall became a platform to wage culture wars. As the political climate in our country has become more divided, vitriolic, and binary, we need City Government that promotes unity amongst neighbors, and welcomes the diversity of thought and beliefs that our founding fathers fought so hard to guarantee us.
At the end of the day you need to make the decisions on Council that best represent EVERY member of Keller, not just the loudest or most powerful.

Let’s Build the Keller We Want, Together
I want to build a Keller that isn’t just surviving but thriving in 20 years, and I want us to build it together.
If you agree with this mission, I ask that you encourage your friends and neighbors to vote, donate time and/or money, and get involved in community activities.
